Guided Healing Meditation & Fundraiser for Golden Hill Foundation
February 25, 2018 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
All proceeds from this session of Guided Healing Meditation will be donated to the Golden Hill Foundation. Golden Hill’s mission provides at-risk youth and their families with qi gong, tai chi, yoga, and meditation instruction and services.
Anyone can learn to quiet the mind. Guided Healing Meditation lets you have that experience.
$10 (or pay what you can)
Experience a 50 minute guided healing meditation intended to help participants deeply relax. As part of the meditation, a Qi Gong healing will be offered for the group. If you are interested in Qi Gong healing, Pangu Shengong, or meditation, this is a good way to experience how this practice can bring more peace, ease, and healing into your life. Even if you don’t care about any of that, these group sessions are beneficial and will help you relax and feel supported.
Qi Gong Healing is based on the same principles as acupuncture methods and martial arts forms. Many report deep and long-lasting changes emotionally and physically after experience with Qi Gong healing and meditation. Come get a taste of what it is about and come back often! See http://

I rent the space where these meditations are held, so the fee helps to defray that cost and the cost of community marketing. Also, I want to honor my time spent preparing for and leading these meditations and I do believe that my time, skills, and gifts are worth something. By adding the phrase “pay what you can”, my intention is to make the opportunity for guided meditation and healing available to all. It is not my intention to offer these sessions for free.
Further, it is also well known in our culture that people value things more when they pay for them or give some consideration. The adage “You get what you pay for” when one is disappointed with something they got for free or little money illustrates this sentiment. I ask for a $10 per person per session, but it is always up to the participant to give what they can.
